Houston Texans Release Full 2022 Regular Season Schedule

Season Kicks Off at Home Against the Cleveland Browns

Preseason Begins August 11th

The Houston Texans have released their full 2022 regular season schedule. The season kicks off at home against the Cleveland Browns on September 11th. The Texans will play their first road game of the season the following week against the Denver Broncos. The Texans will have a bye week in Week 9.

The Texans will play a total of eight home games and eight road games in 2022. Their home schedule includes games against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants, and Washington Commanders. Their road schedule includes games against the Browns, Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Chicago Bears, and Atlanta Falcons.

The Texans finished the 2021 season with a 4-13 record. They are hoping to improve on that record in 2022 with a new head coach in Lovie Smith and a number of new players.

The Texans will begin their preseason schedule on August 11th against the New Orleans Saints. They will also play preseason games against the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys.
